D-43 “Fuchur” was designed in the early ‘90s as a two-seat trainer aircraft. Unlike most conventional gliders, D-43’s pilots are not sitting behind one another, but in a side-by-side-configuration, allowing for better instruction.
D-43’s maiden flight took place in October of 2014, it is currently undergoing flight testing.
