The D-39 is a motor glider designed in the 70s thas been modified and optimized since. It has the wings of the D-38 lengthened to 17.5m and its Tailsurfaces. The glider is powered by Limbachs L2000 Motor with mechanicly adjustable propeller blades. The D-39 is still in flight testing.
